WE BELIEVE IN CHANGE

What does it take to transform helpless, hopeless individuals into  vibrant contributing members of our society? William Clement Stone born 1903 in Chicago Illinois, became fatherless when his dad died at age 3. Today, he is known across the world as a prolific author and motivator for human transformation.  “Whatever the mind of man can conceive and believe, it can achieve,” is one of his most well know quotes.  We too, believe the way out of homelessness and helplessness begins in the mind. Our mission is to help physically with immediate needs like food and clothing. However, at the heart of all we do, our goal is to encourage, and foster mental change in our city’s most disadvantaged population through education and life enrichment programs. We deliver high energy messages that encourage people to live up to their full potential by breaking the cycles of homelessness and crime many face daily.

  • We provide physical items like clothing and food

  • We provide recreation and events for the homeless

  • We provide education and art classes

  • Most important we provide encouragement and support for change

Words can influence. Words can hurt.  Words can kill, and words can breathe new life into a hopeless soul. Would you like to be a mentor and a support link to help the homeless make this transformation? Are you an eternal optimist with love and compassion? Are you a champion for the weak and helpless? Then we can use your help!

“I was in a gang and homeless for some time and my life was filled with criminal activity, violence and even prison time. When I decided to walk away from that lifestyle, I found myself facing many hardships. One of the most challenging was homelessness. I spent many nights sleeping under bridges, eating from garbage dumps, and looking for help from any reliable source I could find.”
